Sarah Boyle, MC

Registered Clinical Counsellor

Sarah Boyle is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (#14285). Since graduating from City University of Seattle with a Masters degree in Psychological Counselling, Sarah’s studies and training have focused on healthy attachment formation and relationship principles, various mindfulness and awareness skills training, behavior interventions, as well as integrative life skills, to assist her clients in creating the most security and fulfillment in their day-to-day lives.

Sarah’s strength as a counselor comes from her open-minded, accepting, non-judgmental, and relatable stance she has with her clients. She greatly values taking the time to develop a clear understanding of where they are at in their lives and what they are experiencing. From this, she creates the strongest connections, builds true empathy and is able to offer the best guidance. Sarah believes in collaborating with her clients, empowering them to discover and develop their own awareness, goals, solutions, balance, knowledge, liberation and peace.

Sarah has a real passion for emotional, relational and physical health. She sees these as fundamental to security and wellbeing in one’s life and often the catalyst for many to really thrive in it. She has extensive training and knowledge in all three areas and applies several evidence-based techniques and tools in her practice.

Outside of Parallel Wellness, Sarah works at a Family Services agency in Langley as a Family Counsellor.  She also engages with Youth programs in Surrey to assist and support her long-term youth clientele there through their growth and development. Sarah loves comedy, music, dancing and is flexible with various forms of exercising and energizing, being outdoors as much as possible. Through her journey gathering knowledge of eating disorders, nutrition, exercise, and psychological wellbeing she lives an energized, gleeful and balanced life comprised of healthy choices day-to-day for her mind, body and huge spirit!

Sarah has always thought of a counselor to be one’s greatest ally. One who unconditionally accepts you, one who sees your best and strengths, guides you to build on those strengths, and one who can support you through the challenges that arise.  Often with some tears and many laughs, Sarah strongly supports her clients through whatever work necessary to help them be and live their best.
